Easy DIY Household Cleaners

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

When I get in the mood to clean that is exactly what I want to do. So if I open the cabinet to discover I am out of a cleaning solution I get upset.

I decided to begin making most of my every day household cleaners. Not only are they non-toxic and better for the kiddos but this also saves our family money.

I thought I would share a few easy DIY household cleaners I use with you.

Easy DIY Household Cleaners

ALL PURPOSE CLEANER

1/2 cup vinegar

1/2 cup rubbing alcohol

1 cup water

1 tsp. pure castile soap

20 drops essential oil (optional)

Mix all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake before each use.

*If using a citrus essential oil I recommend a glass spray bottle.

WINDOW CLEANER

2 cups water

1/4 cup vinegar

1/2 tsp dish soap

Mix all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake before each use.

FLOOR CLEANER

1-gallon hot water

1/2 cup vinegar

5-10 drops essential oil (optional)

Mix all ingredients in mopping bucket.

BATHROOM CLEANER

1 cup vinegar

blue dawn dish soap

Warm the vinegar in microwave for a few minutes then pour in a spray bottle. Add dish soap until blue color then shake before use. Let stand on hard stains a bit before cleaning.

I love to try new DIY cleaners. What are some you use or don’t use?
